Co-Publishing Agreement

This is a team effort! In a co-publishing agreement, a songwriter partners with a publishing company. The songwriter shares some ownership of their song (like giving a partial copy) with the publisher in exchange for help with things like promotion and managing the song’s business side. Songwriters often get an advance payment upfront with these deals.
