Statutory Mechanical Royalty Rate

In the US, the Statutory Mechanical Royalty Rate is a set rate for how much songwriters get paid when their songs are downloaded or sold on physical media. This rate is currently 12.4 cents per song or 2.39 cents per minute, whichever is higher.
